Description | The study focuses on the rheological evaluation of thermosensitive in situ gels containing poloxamer and/or methylcellulose and other additives. Gel structure formation and a satisfactory increase in viscosity were detected rheologically only in combinations with poloxamer 407. It can be concluded that methylcellulose can be used as a constitutive excipient in combination with poloxamer 407. Methylcellulose can be widely used in concentrations less than 1% as a viscosity-increasing agent for oromucosal in situ gels. |
