Description | The chapter explains language aspects of legal education and research in Czechia. English as the dominant language in international communication challenges domestic monolingualism in legal education and research. Despite it, primary language is Czech as the national and official language. Law relies on particular language. The various roles of other languages - Latin, German, French, Russian, Polish and Slovak deserve mentioning. |
