| Description | Brno Art Week is a festival of visual art. It is organized annually by TIC Brno and the Department of Art Education, Facullty of Educiation MUNI in cooperation with Brno galleries, museums and universities. It has been operating since 2010 and currently involves two dozen cultural and educational institutions. Thanks to this, it serves as a platform for cooperation and for connecting gallery operations, artistic practice, artistic-scientific collaboration and educational activities. The festival program includes exhibitions, performances, workshops, conferences, guided walks, lectures and other activities aimed at the arts community and general public, families with children and school groups. The aim of the festival is to initiate and develop a long-term relationship between galleries and their visitors and to convey art in contemporary and attractive forms. |
