| Description | The film is about the literary historian Dmitrij Svajtopolk Mirskij, who fought against the Red Army, emigrated to Britain, teaches at the university and is a renowned expert. He is increasingly homesick, disgusted with Western society and convinced that Bolshevism will be the new engine of the world. He returns to the Soviet Union, but it is ultimately not what he imagined. |
