Description | The contribution was devoted to the regulation of occupational safety, which had long been characterized by fragmentation into various legal regulations. Attention was paid to the development from the Middle Ages to the present. In particular, the laws of 1951 and 1961 and the Labour Codes were highlighted. The key determinants that influenced the creation and change of legislation by the explanatory memorandum (notably the Nelson mine and Dr Hörnes' factory) were also discussed. The legal regulations were put in the context of the 1948 and 1960 constitutions. |
