Description | The aim of this paper is to answer the question: "What are the current foundations of the social work education system in England and whether and how they can be used to reform the social work education system in the Czech Republic". While social work education in the Czech Republic is yet to be reformed, England has taken a number of measures over the past decade to promote the quality of training for helping professionals in social services. One of these has been the development of a holistic approach that links and unifies qualification training and creates a coherent concept of professional learning and development. This has been the Professional Capability Framework (the Framework) in England since 2012, which has been progressively rolled out across social work - from qualifying training to continuing education programs for highly skilled strategic staff [1]. |
