Description | The Environmental Law Summer School on Climate and Sustainability focused on key environmental law topics including not only climate change and sustainability, but also renewable sources and judicial review. Speakers such as Martin Abel (Climate Action, advisor to the Ministry of the Environment), Laura Otýpková (Frank Bold), Vojtěch Vomáčka (MU/NSS/ERA), Jiří Vodička (MU) and Eva Balounová (Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic) presented various aspects of environmental law and legal protection. In addition, Luis Cortat (ERA/Maastricht Uni.) presented "Plastic Impacts and International and European Governance: focus on climate change and chemicals" and Iliopoulos Theodoros (University of Haselt) presented "Renewable Energy Directive and Energy Union Governance". The summer school offered a comprehensive perspective on current issues and inspiration for further work in the field of environmental law. |
