| Description | The chapter from the book on the history of Židlochovice is devoted to the history of Židlochovice during the Protectorate and the Second World War in 1939-1945. Attention is paid to the Czech and German population of the town and its representatives, the local gendarmerie station and the anti-Nazi resistance in Židlochovice and its surroundings. The author then focuses on the racial persecution of the Jewish population, the war events and the course of the liberation of the town by the Red Army in April 1945. |
