| Description | The lecture is focused on the high importance of zinc for the human organism as an essential trace element with multiple effects. Specifically, it is aimed at the area of dermatological indications that pharmacists and pharmaceutical assistants encounter in their daily practice both in relation to dispensing and as part of professional advice. Its importance in dermatological infections, inflammatory dermatoses such as acne vulgaris, aphthous stomatitis, atopic dermatitis and psoriasis is mentioned, as well as its role in disorders of the skin, hair and mucous membranes such as alopecia and vitiligo. The lecture is based on new knowledge available in this area. |
