| Description | Recent studies prove the magnificent effect the bariatric and metabolic surgery has on disorders till recently taken as domain of conservative medicine.It is clear, that it is impossible to offer these methods to all patients who suffer from these disorders (type II diabetes, elevated blood pressure, hyperlipidemia etc.) wihout broadening the number of departments offering such surgeries.In Hospital Trebic is the metabolic surgery recently being introduced since late 2020. Although there was some pause due to covid-19 pandemics, 2 procedures weekly are performed regularly by a stable team of surgeons and anestesiologists. |
