| Description | The aim of the chapter is to summarise how sexism is manifested in the media and how this area is regulated in the Czech Republic, and on this basis to formulate recommendations that could help improve the situation. The chapter summarises the findings on the position of female journalists in media organisations and the portrayal of women in media content, assesses Czech legislation on media, gender and sexism and media self-regulation in this area, describes some examples of good practice from abroad and the Czech Republic and concludes with suggestions for solutions. |
