| Description | The paper is based on the important disagreement between the Public Defender of Rights S. Křeček and his Deputy which happened in the summer 2022 and delas with the issue of the legislation relevant to the situation. The issue has been dealt with in a former paper, this paper analyses it again and contemplates if the former conclusions are still relevant. It concludes that the possibility to remove a part of the competence delegated to the Deputy is a powerful tool of management of the Deputy. However, it contradicts the conception that the legal status of the Deputy and the Defender are equal. The paper also deals with the governmental draft amending the relevant legislation. |
