| Description | The paper will present the Language Tandem at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University, which has a tradition of several years. Tandem teaching can connect foreign students with Czech students from different faculties in a non-violent way and brings various benefits to both communities. In contrast to traditional language teaching, the individual abilities of the participants can be used much more, through natural autonomous learning. Meeting people from different countries not only serves to develop communicative language competence, but also to create a wider awareness of foreign languages and cultures. The article will present not only the topics that tandem partners work with, but also video samples from tandem meetings and evaluation of feedback from Language Tandem participants. |
