• Description: The paper addresses common uncertain factors in real-world vehicle routing applications. Four generic uncertainty-handling mechanisms are introduced and analysed. The paper demonstrates that uncertainty may be realistically handled even for large-scale and complex problems using the discussed mechanisms.
