Description Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a multifactorial chronic inflammatory skin disease affecting 1% to 4% of Europeans. It is characterized by recurrent inflamed nodules, abscesses, and sinus tracts in intertriginous regions. The genital area is affected in 11% of cases and usually is connected to severe forms of HS in both men and women. The prevalence of HS-associated genital lymphedema remains unknown.
