Description | Anionic gemini surfactant C12H25OPO(OH)(OCH2CH2)3OPO(OH)OC12H25 was used as a template for the synthesis of new mesostructured materials. These materials containing aluminum, zirconium, chromium and lanthanum were prepared by homogeneous precipitation by urea and characterized by XRD, IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis and elemental analysis. However, all attempts to remove the template led to the structure collapse. Our XRD study showed a transformation of lamellar to hexagonal structure during the synthesis of aluminium and zirconium materilas. Chromium and lanthanum display a hexagonal and lamellar structure, respectively. The template is bound to the walls of the mesostructured products as all materials contain phosphorus after calcination. |
