| Description | The author summarizes pharmacological and therapeutic properties of natural azelaic acid. Azelaic acid in a 20% concentration is the active substance in Skinoren cream. By its local application for 3-6 months important pharmacological properties were confirmed, i.e. its comedolytic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. |
