| Description | The results of a three-year study concerned with different ovarian responses to hormonal stimulation in 220 smoking and non-smoking female patients involved in an IVF programme are described. A significant, negative correlation was found between age and the number of retrieved oocytes in the smokers, as compared with the never- smokers. |
