| Description | Metallosilicates find widespread application in chemical industry as catalysta, molecular sieves, and adsorbents. Molecular metallosilicates with cubic core can be prepared from silanetriols RSi(OH)3 (R = organic substituent)and alkoxides M(OR)n or chlorides RMCl3. We employed N-trimethylsilyl-N-trihydroxysilyl-2,6-diisopropylaniline and prepared a series of cubäne-like compounds [RSi(O)3MR]4 and characterized them by NMR spectroscopic methods, elemental analysis, and mass spectrometry. |
