| Description | Paper presents some of the basic ideas of one of the current studies of the Research Centre for Personality and Ethnicity Development in Brno with the internal grant support of the School of Social Studies, Masaryk University. The study concentrates on the philosophical, historical, biological, sociological and psychological roots of motherhood. The following topics are taken into account: getting prepared for the motherhood role, postnatal depression issues, analysis of relevant studies. The core of the paper contains the description of the survey and its methodology. |
