Description | Two groups of patients, managed for symptomatic lumbar spondylolisthesis by 360 degree fusion were evaluated. PLIF or ALIF technique was always completed by transpedicular fixation and fusion. Eighteen patients underwent PLIF, 16 ALIF technique. The time of anesthesia and surgery, intra- and postoperative blood loss and complications were evaluated. The combined 360 degree fusion (ALIF group) lasted significantly longer. The other differences were statistically insignificant. |
