| Description | Allium cepa (onion) lack a typical plant telomeres at the end of chromosomes. Using TRAP (telomere repeat amplification protocol) method we found out that they don not have neither plant telomerase or other variants of telomerases (Chlamydomonas, human, Tetrahymena). |
