| Description | Few yaers ago the most popular protocol for transporting IP datagrams in metropolitan area networks was ethernet (fast ethernet, gigabit ethernet) over dark fiber pairs. Nowadays we can see some kind of renesance of using SDH as an underlaying protocol for the same purpose. The aim of this paper is to recall existing common used protocol for transporting IP datagrams over SDH network. |
