| Description | Fractures of the mandible belong to rare complications after the extraction of third molars. They can occur either during the operation (due to inappropriate surgical technique) or after the surgery (most often when excessive chewing force has been used on the weakened bone). The author presents three case reports of patients who were hospitalized because of this complication at the Clinic of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Faculty hospital Brno. |
