Description | The nouns in Russian and Czech are divided according to gender. Living beings are defined in accordance with their natural, biological differences as either masculine or feminine. Nouns indicating individuals may express differences in a natural set of gender pairs. Russian does not derive femine forms from masculine nouns but uses (much more often than Czech) nouns as universal forms. In our account, we have limited on the person-nouns. |
