Description Bryoflora of rock habitats was studied in southwestern Moravia. Altogether 139 species (23 liverworts, 116 mosses), 12 of them threatened, were recorded at 40 study sites. The interesting finds of Barbula sinuosa, Brachythecium oxycladum, Dicranoweisia cirrata, Pleurochaete squarrosa, and Schistostega pennata are discussed. The most common life-form of rocks is chamaephyte, and the most frequent life-strategies are colonist and perennial. The most frequent distribution range type are temperate, boreal and subboreal.
