Description | Essay was dedicated to cognition the checkered relations of T.G. Masaryk (hereinafter T.G.M.) with Serbians. It is deeply focused to his contacts with Serbian politicians living in Hungarian part of Austro Hungarian Monarchy as well as Masaryks attitudes for protecting them at and Wien legal processes. Less-known facts are submitted, concerning T.G.M. attempts to mediate between Serbian and Austrian governments based on request of N. Pašić in period of crisis 1912 to 1913. Author clarifies broad nexus of T.G.M. relations with VIP Serbian emigrants during his stay both in Western Europe and the USA during the WWI, and their collective effort to liberate enslaved Slavonic nations, draws attention to the role of this Czech politician in recruitment of Czech volunteers into Serbian Legion, which have fought later in Dobrudja, as well as his unforgettable participation in post war establishment of the Little Entente. |
