Description The autors present a case of 78-years old patient, who was hospitalized with a persistent edema of face. After a detailed exploration a tumor of mediastinum with thrombosis v. jugularis, v. brachiocephalica of the upper vena cava and v. subclavia was diagnosed. After the antikoagulant treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy the edema disappeared.
