Description The article discusses the question, how socially and ideologically was legitimised the new political culture, which was formed in the Czech society after the Velvet Revolution in 1989. Post-communism, its new political myths and political culture is an attempt of new elites to establish the new sacral ideocracy from above and to create the subject-like and authoritarian character of the national political culture. The crisis of the post-communist right-wing politics manifested itself in the falsification of the originally sacral myth. The crisis was evocated by the interest-based activities of elites, engaged in the struggle for the control over the privatisation of state property, which erupted inside of the new political class.
