| Description | The present condition of variant and double forms of feminine nouns the KOST paradigm and Dpl. and Lpl. the paradigm PRÁCE was evaluated on the research of Czech grammar books and texts in the SYN2000 corpus. The choice of endings of the KOST paradigm is influenced mainly by the follouwing factors: word formation, the lexico-semantic factor, the character of the final consonant, historical factor, and high freyuency of some lexemes. The continuous transition of the peripheral declension part of the KOST paradigm towards the paradigm PÍSEň is to be stated. Teh frequency of double forms within the feminine paradigm PRÁCE, i.e. PRACÍM/PRACEM, PRACÍCH/PRACECH is influenced by historical factor and high absolute lexeme frequency at the present time. The documented high occurence of non-codified forms manifests their firm position in usage. |
