| Description | Absolon managed to organise a very popular exhibition in a separate pavilion entitled "Man and his Family" at the exhibition ground in Brno (on the Exhibition of Contemporary Culture in Czechoslovakia in 1928), while deftly demonstrating his talent with media. The greatest success with the public was a life-size reconstruction of a mammoth, financed by a donation from industrialist Tomáš Baťa. |
