| Description | The paper deals with the presence of new Czech literature for children and youth in readers for primary school. 38 readers from two periods are analysed by the method of content analysis aimed to the authors and genre structure of literary texts. Its claimed that in the readers published after 2000 are much more texts from the newest literature. Among the most frequent authors are counted J. Žáček and Z. Svěrák. From the newest literature especially verses, texts of songs, artificial fairy-tales, realistic stories from children lifes can be found. Readers have different conceptions, the presence of new literature in them differs, many texts are e.g. in the readers published by Nová škola and Fragment. |
