Description | The paper deals with cell segmentation problem in biomedical 2D and 3D image as a specific and difficult task. It shows a method of converting the segmentation task to an optimalization task, using apriori information about cell shape. Mathemadical models of ellipse and ellipsoid are used for cell description. |
