Description | The author deals with a comparison of individual stages in court proceedings after the reform introduced by Verneuerte Landesordnungen in Böhmen und Mähren (1627/1628) for Bohemia in 1627 and for Moravia 1628. Provincial law, which had been developing separately in both provinces until the beginning of 17th century, was characterised, besides numerous common features, by different ones. The verbal and public form of trial was replaced by a written and closed one. That was basis as well as the influence of Declaratorien and Novellen of 1640 taken into consideration that have served the author to find out the extent of the unification of provincial law in both provinces and the preservation of its traditional differences. |
