Description The article outlines the political positions that constitute the current left-wing political map. The first section of the article summarizes the causes of the deep crisis experienced by the Left in the early 1990s. The second section describes the conditions that led to the revitalisation of the radical criticism of global capitalism in the second half of the 1990s. The third section discusses the four different types of left-wing reaction to the challenge of globalisation.
