| Description | Tha authors operated on four groups of patients (294, 235,410 and 116 cases) from 1980 - 2005 suffering from spinal deformity (scoliosis in majority of cases). Patients in groups 1-3 were monitored with the wake-up test intraoperatively, the group 4 patients by means of somatosensory and motor evoked potentials. The authors prefer the method utilising evoked potential, which is more accurate. |
