| Description | In this paper is discussed the role of personal social services policy in connection with the autonomy of elderly people. In the first part are described the new directions in personal social services in industrial developed countries in the last period, above all new trends and inovation of conception of services and their organization and delivery. In the second part are introduced the main principles of personal social services policy in the Netherland, including the new directions in the social work with the elderly. In the last part is present the Project of sheltered living for elderly people in Amsterdam as the example how could be these principles used in practice. |
