| Description | This paper attempts to explore the basic characteristics of voting behaviour in one of the largest Czech city, in Brno. Its aim is to answer the question how the citizens of a given territory vote, and which political party tended to win elections in the years 1919 – 1946. The esearch units consist of the Assembly of the City of Brno and the Chamber of deputies – Parliament of the Czechoslovak republic electoral results. The basic method used is a historical approach based on a long-term comparison of election maps over a given period of time. |
