Description In the contribution the results of adsorption study of benzene, and fluoro- and chlorobenzene on well oriented platinum Pt(111) single crystal surface measured by cyclic voltammetry combined with electrochemical currents elimination - EVLS and by alternating current voltammetry are given. All three compounds have the similar behavior at the hydrogen evolution potential range, e.g. strong adsorption followed by chemical reaction, most probably the benzene ring hydrogenation.
