| Description | Multicultural and multilanguage Europe brings in constant emphasis on intercultural issues in education and upbringing. This trend finds its place in foreign languages didactics because the most important aims in foreign language teaching have been - learning about different cultures, awareness of the differences, and ability to react to them. Tales are one of the most interesting and revealing expressions of culture. Anchored in history, verbally transmitted, they are also the carriers of the main values of a culture. The study uses tales to explore the perceptions (and stereotypes) we may have about different cultures. |
