Description | We believe that it is crucial to promote a critical dialogue between quantitative and qualitative methodological perspectives, its advantages and limitations. In our experience such discussions are rare. The workshop was based on discussion based on participant presentations and promoted reflexive accounts on the advantages and disadvantages of working with qualitative and quantitative methodologies and on the reasons of for their persistent (although undesirable) divide. The workshop was facilitated by two distinguished European speakers Francesca Gobbo (Torino University) and Sin Yin Cheung (Oxford Brookes University). |
