| Description | This paper deals with some specific issues of protection of a consumer in cyberspace. It is focused mainly on regulation of this topic in the directive 97/7/EC on the protection of consumers in respect of distance contracts. The aim of this paper is to analyze this directive, point out its weak points and to propose improving changes. These changes are necessary as this law was enacted in times of early development of cyberspace and therefore does not fully comply with recent needs of e-commerce regulation. |
