Description The case study deals with recent developments in translator training at the Department of English and American Studies, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. It starts with a brief description of the situation in the former Czechoslovakia in the 70s and 80s and continues with an explanation of further developments and methods of addressing contemporary requirements on translators.In conclusion, the author provides the reader with maxims that should be adhered to in order to avoid possible pitfalls and problems in technology-enhanced translator training.
