Description | Almost all Czech primers use 7492 serif typefaces, while German or English primers prefer sans serif types. Czech teachers believe serif types are superior as they are more legible and better-known to children. These claims do not correspond with recent research literature showing only very small (if any) effect of typeface on legibility. German and American teachers stress the simplicity of the letter shapes of sans serif types. |
