| Description | Field-names represent a valuable evidence of German locations and settlements existing in the territory of Moravia and Silesia in the past. Many of the place-names became an inseparable part of the currently available pool of Czech place-names. The study points out the differencies between the onomastical and dialectological research methodologies. These methodologies can complement one another, however, one methodology can never replace the other one and vice versa. |
