| Description | This research was carried out from 2001 onwards in the Jihlava, Brno, Vyškov and \olomouc language islands as part of a German-Austrian-Czech project concerning former German dialects in Moravia. Regionally an locally confined sound peculiarities consist in inserting sounds into certain sound combinations not known in standard language, unusual sound changes an sound substitutions als well as the presence of sounds which do not exist in standard language. |
