Description | Differentiated instruction is a classroom method that allows teacher to organize materials and learning so that each student has an opportunity to benefit as much as possible. Through the use of techniques such as scaffolding, grouping and learning centers, the teacher is able to align learning goals with students individual abilities. Beginning with clear identification of educational objectives, implementing differentiated instruction involves managing content, materials and assessment. This method is useful in any classroom where there is a spectrum of learners including those classes serving students with special needs. |
