| Description | The review dicusses a voluminous publication, which constitutes substantial evidence of the high level of classical scholarship at Cairo University and in Egypt in general. The book, which has more than five hundred pages, was published as the fifth annual of the Egyptian Society of Greek and Roman Studies. The first part of the volume is written in European languages, such as Italian, English, French or New Greek; the second part is in Arabic. The publication contains up-to-date papers, many of them present results of analyses of the new papyrus finds in Egypt. |
