| Description | Isolated idiopathic hyperamylasemia was described in year 2000. The occurence of that phenomenon is sporadic, but sometimes familial and question about its genetic origin was raised. CFTR mutation is more often described in patients suffering from so called idiopathic chronic pancreatitis. |
