Description | This course focuses on the development of juggling-movement skills. Juggling is a creative motor activity which is not based only on the drill of a technique but it also enables us to develop new motor experiences and skills. Besides the positive impacts on psychical stage we also develop sense of rhythm, correct body posture, nerve-muscle coordination, balance and spatial orientation. Furthermore, juggling is an activity improving coordination, concentration and relations between the brain hemispheres. Last but not least, juggling develops the need of presenting our own artistic tricks and skills in front of an audience and thus an independent and self-confident performing. Although juggling is not that popular in the Czech Republic (as in Germany for instance, where juggling-movement activities take place within school education), it is used in work with children or risky youth (leisure time activities, school physical education) or as a leisure time sports at all age groups. |
